In approximately 1980, due to a succession of coups' in Nigeria, Benny Dee moved into retail.

Benny Dee opened stores in Petticoat Lane in London's East End, followed by, stores in Walthamstow, Kilburn, Brixton, Wood Green, Woodford Green and Oxford Street.

Following the death of one of the co-founders the company Benny Dee (Underwear) Ltd. was closed and re-structured. The three remaining Directors kept four stores and closed Brixton, Oxford street and Woodford Green.

Benny Dee (Wood Green) Ltd. is situated in Wood Green, North London. It has five thousand square feet of sales floor with thirty full-time employees.  We pride ourselves on the best possible value for money offers on the high street - the range of merchandise we sell changes constantly.

Although Lingerie is our main business, we now do a full range of men's, ladies and children's outer and underwear. We concentrate the majority of our buying on Store merchandise, end of ranges and seconds, this is supplemented by our own ranges of imported underwear, and nightwear.

We have built up excellent working relationships with Gossard, Triumph, Berlei, Charnos, Benny Dee (Wood Green) Ltd is always looking to increase its supplier base. We also stock Calvin Klein Jeans T-Shirts and Sweatshirts, Timberland Sweatshirts.The most important person to us is the customer; we hold your satisfaction above everything else.
